The maths most apps hide

Percentage fees quietly punish your best months.

When a subscription app charges 1–3% of revenue, your bill grows every time you succeed. Conscription charges a flat fee — so the app that helped you grow never becomes the tax on your growth.

Everything you need

A complete subscriptions engine — bundles included.

Flexible programmes

Create monthly, six-month, and custom recurring programmes. Assign products and variants to selling plan groups in a few clicks.

App-defined bundles

Sell fixed bundles as grouped subscription line items that share one bundle instance — something native Shopify bundles can't do recurringly.

Native storefront selector

A theme app block adds a clean subscribe/one-time selector to your product pages — no theme surgery, no checkout you don't control.

Reliable renewals

A backend worker drives renewal billing with idempotent attempts, so customers are never double-charged and failures recover cleanly.

Customer self-service

An app-proxy portal under your own domain lets customers pause, skip, resume, cancel, and change frequency — fewer support tickets for you.

Merchant visibility

See contracts, billing attempts, and bundle groups from one admin dashboard, with worker health and audit visibility built in.

From install to first renewal

Live in an afternoon, not a sprint.

Install & set up

Add Conscription from the Shopify App Store and complete the guided setup checklist inside your admin.

Create programmes

Define your subscription frequencies and bundles, then assign products from the product purchase-options card.

Add the block

Drop the theme app block onto your product template so customers can choose to subscribe at checkout.

Let it run

Shopify creates the contract, the renewal worker bills on schedule, and customers manage everything themselves.

Good questions

The things merchants ask first.

Yes. You pay one fixed monthly (or annual) plan fee based on your subscription revenue band, and Conscription takes no percentage of any order. Payments are processed by Shopify exactly as your other orders are.

It is. Conscription uses Shopify selling plans, subscription contracts, and the native checkout — so the buying experience is familiar to your customers and your data stays inside Shopify's subscription surfaces.

Native Shopify bundle products can't be sold on a recurring selling plan. Conscription models a bundle as multiple subscription line items that share an app-owned bundle instance ID, so you can offer genuine recurring bundles with grouped management.

Yes — a customer portal served under your shop's domain lets subscribers pause, skip, resume, cancel, and change frequency without emailing you. That keeps your support load low and your churn lower.

Uninstalling marks your shop inactive and cleans up or redacts app-owned operational data through Shopify's webhooks, keeping only minimal audit history. Because the app manages subscription operations, uninstalling can affect app-owned subscription management — see our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
